Very Handy Chain Saw. Bought this one for a gift. Have used my saw many times to trim trees and cut up campfire wood. As with all of my other WORX purchases this Cordless Pruning Saw is a quality tool and the battery sharing amongst all of my WORX tools is a great advantage.

Great Pruning Saw!

Saw arrived as expected and was packed appropriately. I used the saw to heavily prune my crab apple tree. I typically prune this tree annually, but this year, the growth was more than usual. Nevertheless, the saw made short work of the heavy pruning. I was extremely pleased with how the saw performed. The one minor drawback is that the chain oil had to be administered manually. The saw comes with a small plastic bottle for performing this function. Other than this one minor problem, the saw performed admirably and I would recommend this product to anyone interested in such a device.

Q: Chain & Bar lubrication? On this item's page it shows the chain tension knob as the ( automatic chain lubrication ) but in it's user manual only shows manually oiling the chain & bar on pg.10 figure F. Does this 5" saw have a built in oil reservoir?

A: I just received this 5" chainsaw and can definitely say - these do Not have an oil reservoir. In the pic above on this page where it points to a cap or knob for the location of the oil reservoir, that is just the knob for attaching the orange plastic cover over the chain sprocket. There is nothing else under that orange plate. Sorry guys/gals. The user manual says & shows only manually oiling the bar & chain about every 5 cuts. So far I have Not found any brands 4-6 inch chain saws that (actually) do have an oil reservoir - regardless of what the advertise.
