Q: Does this miter saw have a brushless motor like many of the other Nitro tools?
3 years agoA: Why does this not have a brushless motor, I thought that the benefit of NITRO tools was that they ALL had brushless.

Q: Can you use a dado blade on this or do a dado cut?
4 years agoA: Can't use a dado blade, but it has a depth adjustment so you can make several passes like you would with a hand circular saw.

Q: I see you mentioned it "works well with the Pegasus worktable. Does that mean it just sits on the table or is able to be secured to the table using existing features?
4 years agoA: I attached this miter to my Pegasus with the two clamps included with the Pegasus. I used the clamps OUT of their tracks and had the grips "below" the table. Worked well for me.

Q: Can I use my existing 2A - 20Volt Batteries from the Worx powershare line to operate this tool? You are only selling the" tool only" version of this product. I have several 2A - 20 Volt Powershare batteries.
4 years agoA: Sure, no problem with any Worx 20V battery. But keep in mind that the 4.0 amp-hour battery has better endurance than the standard 2.0ah battery. Especially if you have a large project or you're cutting hard woods.

Q: Why in Europe there is a different version (with the same name WX845) but with laser guide not shadow line? Is this shadow line version some kind of refresh and newer that will also be available in Europe?

Q: Can a 4x4 be cut with this saw
a year agoA: Hello There, Thank you for your question. The max cutting thickness is 2.25 at 90° | 1.63 at 45° and the max cutting width is 8.25 at 90° | 5.75 at 45° Please refer to your owners manual on page 8 under "Cutting cpacity" Thank you for choosing WORX!

Q: Will it cut a 6x6?
2 years agoA: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. If you intend to make a 90-degree cut with your 6X6 material, we recommend using this miter saw. I would not recommend utilizing this saw for that material size if the angle is not within that range.
