The 2-in-1 nature of this product is appealing. So far, I've used it as a small handheld trim saw more than I've used it affixed to the pole, but it does work on the pole. Someone's literature said the angle of the saw on the pole was adjustable. It is NOT. You get the angle shown in the picture.
Assembly was easy. It's nice that the pole comes apart at a screw-joint half way up its length. That makes for easier storage. The instructions were thorough and even included a tutorial on the basics of how to use a chain saw.
The saw gets a little unwieldy when the pole is fully extended. Those with strength challenges should sacrifice the 2-for-1 nature of this product and opt for a lighter weight, "unitasker" pole saw and purchase a separate chain saw of a size they can handle if needed.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) small and robust machine, was able perform under challenging conditions. A bit heavy when fully extended, so you have to be extra careful. Great benefit of having 2 in 1 - cut branches and immediately trim them for disposal.

Wife bought it for me as a gift. Love it! We live on 10 acres and I use this saw all the time. It’s light, powerful and easy to use, especially on an extension ladder. Would recommend to anyone, without question.

Saw is a little front heavy but was great for pruning the occasional limb. However, the motor is designed to fail. The shaft of the motor includes plastic pieces that will melt with any sort of continuous use. We had a storm come through the area and I needed to trim the downed limbs (2-5” in diameter) into 6 foot lengths for disposal and after 10 cuts in a row the saw slowed down and the electric motor started smoking from the burning plastic that had melted and was being thrown into the electromagnets. After the motor cooled down it was permanently seized and turned the saw into an expensive paperweight.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello Valued Customer, Thank you for your question. There are a couple options. You can use a 50 FT cord, no more than 12 AMPS, with a minimum 16 Gauge. You may also use a 100 FT cord, no more than 12 AMPS that is at least a 14 Gauge. We do not recommend going over 150FT to ensure the best performance. Thank you for choosing WORX!
