Truly disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the EX696L multi tool when it was on sale and thought I got a good deal. The tool sat in my workshop for a long time until used it. It worked great for about 6 cuts. Then it started making horrific noises and wasn’t cutting. It seems the shaft that connects the motor to the chuck has broken….. now I have a very pretty rechargeable paper weight…..
No, I do not recommend this product.

Great multi use tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool a few months ago and all I can say is WOW!! I love the light weight and comfortable ergonomic design, I have so much control in my cuts. I have yet to find something I cannot use it on, we just did a kitchen remodel, drywall, plumbing, baseboards you name it I used this tool. The variable speeds are great and the multi angle blade made it easy to get into tight spots, especially with the bright LED light. Another great tool from Worx, a home run!

A: Hello, thank you for your question. The WORX Power Share™ is the only cordless tool platform that uses the same battery to power 20V and 40V tools. The 1.5 Ah battery comes standard with the WX696L. If you are looking to use this battery in a 40V tool was advise that you also use a second 1.5Ah battery for optimal performance.
