Versatility, power.

The multi-sander tool has exceptional versatility. I have use it on large wood projects -wood coffee table and it tight corners, restoring cabinets. I do wish WORX had more available replacemenet pads including a buffing or polishing pad for the orbital attachment.

All in one sander

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m everything Worx, from drills to string trimmer. My recent purchase is the WX820 sander. I don’t like one purpose tools so with the multi attachments, this sander does it all. Re-finished my coffee and end table. Now working on my bedroom furniture and then onto my enclosed fire pit.

You can use any generic buffing pads that have the same 5″ hook-and-loop interface—just make sure they fit the backing pad properly. These pads are typically available at most local hardware stores. Q: How would you rate the vibration (Comfort) when using this sander. I have used other brands and found most of them to leave my hand numb after 5-10 minutes. I also noticed that the handle is NOT above the sanding pad, does that cause any discomfort?

A: Hello! When the vibrations reach speeds between 1 and 3, they are hardly noticeable. When your speed reaches between 4 and 6, you become conscious but not uncomfortable. At level 6, one can detect vibrations, but not to the extent that their hands become asleep. By positioning not directly above the sanding pad it reduces the vibrations that can be felt.
