    Poor quality

Bought this tent and used 3 times. First drizzle of its use and we got completely soaked! Would not recommend and will not be buying this brand again. Tried to exchange, but Canadian tire said it’s only a 7 day return on this item. Poor quality and customer service on both ends.

    Great Tent!

I purchased this tent specifically for a girls & dog trip out to the coast with plenty of camping trips along the way. I have a Great Dane and my friend has a pitbull so we needed enough room for our gear and all the dog gear, the tent was on sale for the same price as a 6 person tent so I splurged. Completely worth it. There was plenty of room for both dogs and humans, the gear and even then there was free space to move, stand and store anything extra. The entry way/awning area is AMAZING to keep shoes and outdoor apparel for keeping the tent clean. Ventilation is really good, very little condensation collection in the tent and holds heat decently well even for being so big. The set up is easy considering it's an 8 person tent. Two poles for the tent itself and one for the awning section. It's fairly light once it's set up so it's important to peg it down or winds can take it ( We learnt this setting it up as a storm came through the mountain pass). There are only two minor issues that I've encountered, one is the velcro patches to keep and overlap over the awning zippers, they're not attached as well as they should be so can get in the way of the zipper (again, minor issue). The second complaint is the connection points of the poles seem to have a loose connection during take down, and can cause a little extra hassle with trying to keep the cords and poles in good shape. Overall, I would highly recommend this tent. It's aesthetically pleasing to the eye, spacious and easy set up and take down ( easier with more than one person).

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Very good tent.

I picked this tent to purchase because it was a dome style with a large screened roof. The tent was easy to set up like most domes are. The weakest link of any tent besides the fly is the zippers. if the zippers break then the tent is garbage, the zippers on this tent are very strong and actually have a break in period. We were camping in the Temagami area in July and we went through a wicked storm for eight hours, VERY HEAVY RAIN! We were completely dry in the morning, that is worth the price of gold when you are camping. The fly actually channels the water like rain gutters so we dug trenches in the dirt to give the water somewhere to flow. When rain jumps almost a foot in the air after it has fallen, you know you are in a serious storm. My one complaint which is important for a tent is the pegs. They are of very poor quality and bend easily. I had to purchase some 6" galvanized nails to anchor the tent. Finally a campers tip for you, use a rubber mallet to drive the pegs in the ground. You will not damage your tent from a missed strike and the peg goes in the ground the first time.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Does Woods brand have a super fine bug screen on their tents. Like the older Woods tents that where green had super fine? I know Coleman has gone to a larger mesh that lets no-see-ums thru.
