Perfect Tent For Family Of 6

We have had this tent for 3 years now. We are a family of 6 plus one large puppy dog. There is enough room for all of us and our dry food in the tent. We have had periods of rain during our several camping trips and had no issues with leakage. It's easiest to set up with two people but takes no time to do so. I would definitely buy this tent again

design flaws

if you attach the clips to the first set of black poles, it stretches the tent too tight at the door, making the zipper almost impossible to close and/or resulting in seems ripping. Leave the front black poles unclipped = no zipper problems. I have had two of these tents now, and they both had the identical problem. Also, the back of the tent leaks in overnight rain, as well as all the tent peg locations leak. I pinned a tarp over the back of the tent after my wet experience, solved the problem. OTHER than that, it is very spacious. It weighs a ton, it's like having an extra passenger in the car.

Expected Better

It’s a nice spacious tent, love the fact that there are two rooms. However, first night of camping and it rains... water ended up getting into the front section via the bottom edges/corners. Set up was somewhat difficult as well, there’s a small typo in the instructions, and I find a lot of the support for the tent to stay up is on the small flaps upfront, already they peg loops are starting to rip.

Perfect Family Tent

This tent is exactly what I was looking for. Had room for our family of 6, including space for clothing and stuff plus still room to walk to the back room. And I enjoyed having a back room. No worries of my kids wandering out at night. It is quick and easy to set up before we had it pegged down, I was wondering how it would actually stay up, but if held up well with even just the corners pegged for a 4 night camping trip! Now here’s hoping it stands up for years to come!

Easy to set up, lot of spaces (4 kids at the room at the back with their luggages et two adults in the front room and lot of bags). We had a little storm and rain and it didn’t leak (we put a coat of waterproof product).

Q: if this tent has 2 rooms only so whats the purpose of having 2 D doors in the middle of the tent?

A: Hi Anthony, The divider at mid-tent has a column of storage pockets (~10” wide) in the center of the divider. Either side of the column are doors for the consumers convenience. One can achieve privacy or shade on one side while ventilation on the other. Have a nice day!

Q: We purchased this tent last year, and absolutely froze due to the mesh roof. The “tarp” that goes over the roof doesn’t come down far enough on the sides, letting cool air circulate. Is there another tarp that would fit over the tent?

A: Hi AmyCamps, Sorry we do not offer multiple styles of flies for this model. This tent is a 3-season tent and the air circulation is necessary to avoid condensation build up and to avoid asphyxiation.

A: Hi Lisa, the room divider is sewn into the tent and is not detachable on this model. Also note, the sewn-in divider (wall) has two D doors on either side with 4 mesh storage pockets in between. Hope this helps!

Q: Just purchased this tent. Have not opened. Does the tent include a divider for the back sleeping area? So it becomes a large front room with two smaller back rooms? I saw the two doors in the divider and assumed this was the case. We need a 3 room tent.

A: This product features one sewn-in tent divider at the middle/back of the tent which splits the tent into two separate room.

Q: I bought this tent last year and used once. I took it out to use again this year, and this year it rained. The tent leaks along the back wall where the hanging pockets are attached. How is this tent treated for waterproofing?

A: Hi Tracy, it is recommend to seam seal the internal seams of the tent prior to each season of camping to ensure all sewn holes are treated to prevent water from entering the tent. A seam sealer can be purchased at Canadian Stores or online.

Q: In previous response you gave measurements for back room but mentioned the slope. Were those measurements at deepest points? Trying to figure out of queen can fit both length and width wise or if it’d be touching the wall.
