    Decent but misleading

The wind catcher part of this doesn’t really work, but this is a really compact air mattress that is actually comfortable to sleep on.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Inflates easily, leaks slowly

The first one I got, I suspected had already been returned because it wasn't packed very well, but I tried it out anyways. It inflates in 9-10 breaths if you want it very rigid. I put it on top of my bed and slept on it to try it out before taking it camping. It slowly deflated over the course of a couple hours, my hip would have been on the ground for sure. I returned that one for another, this one seemed new. Again I tried it on top of my bed, and it deflated over the course of the night, but I think more like 5-6 hours. It's only useful for summer camping because there's no insulation, but is relatively compact and reasonably light. It's very thick so it's very comfortable for a side sleeper.. until it deflates after a few hours. I guess this is a problem with not being able to fully seal the windcatcher inlet. If you're thinking of spending this much on a mattress (I didn't buy it at full price) there are more reliable options that will serve you better while still being comfortable, lighter and more compact when rolled.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Disappointed

I thought to spend more money to get a better quality and more compact product for hiking. The rapid inflate was a key reason for buying this model, but sadly I found it difficult to use and on the second use the mattress wouldn't hold air through the night :-(.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Great for extended hiking trip

Used this on a hike in Rogers Pass for a few nights. Really easy to blow up, and compress. Super compact for packing, and quite comfortable. Got it on sale, but the regular price is not too bad compared to the big name brands. You will be pleasantly surprised by the quality of this mat, good job Woods!

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 1 of 1 Question

Q: It says the weight limit is 220 lbs but im 230, does it really matter?

    • A: Manufacturers suggest weight allowances to maximise comfort and based on what the equipment components will withstand. If it says 220lbs but you are 230lbs, this means you are likely to blow seals/ not have the same experience as a person below suggested manufactured size. If you are willing to waive your rights to any kind of warranty, have a less comfortable experience or risk air leaks from the seals then no it doesn't matter. That said it could make absolutely no difference at all because your last weight - in could have been off by a couple pounds. The short answer here is it's a risk your going to either have to take or ignore. But if the product doesn't work as claimed you may want to consider/accept that the weight allowances affected your experience.
