This hatchet fell apart within a week. The screws on the handle fell out on a bumpy FSR and the blade does not hold an edge for more than one nights camping.
Spend the money for something a little more reliable

A: 1/4 inch at most. Comes razor sharp out of the box though. Might not be the best if you want to batton the back of it because it is narrow.
