The velcro strap to hold the bladder upright has never done its job since day 1. For the price, this was a big disappointment.

A: Hi Sylvia, there are no complicated functions of the backpack that may cause any safety concern. As with all packs the fit should be good or else the pack may be uncomfortable to carry if the pack is bigger than the childs body. The dims are 49cm x 25cm so as long the child is big enough to have the pack sit on their back correctly - should be good to go!

A: 2 litres of water to drink anytime you want. If you put more stuff in pack no problem for there is 6 different compartments of different sizes
