A: The battery is built in. You just plug it into the wall or vehicle to recharge.

Q: The instructions say do not charge when car is running.......how am I supposed to charge it in the car for 8hrs and not drain my battery?

A: The content is used for very old cars as the current may overload and damage the pump when starting the car. It should be for used as a suggestion but does not mean you cannot. The manufacturer will revise the contents to avoid any confusion moving forward.

A: It takes 6 hours to fully charged, and could inflate at least 3pcs air mattress when full charge.

Q: Will this ONLY run when the battery is charged or will it inflate/deflate when plugged into a power source?

A: For safety reasons, it is not able to inflate/deflate while the pump is charging.
