Yep ... not worth the money

I purchased the Carlon "plug in" type wireless door chime AND the plug in wireless extender hoping to have a chime by my door and the extender deeper inside my house. Well, one chime (that plugs into a wall outlet) will work but only if it's within approx 15 ft of the door bell .. not the 150' range as was mentioned on the package. THEN to add insult to injury .. the extender also won't work farther than 15ft from the door bell either. Some extender ! What's the point in having two ringers side by side right at the door ?

Waste of Money

We got this so an aging parent could call for aid if need be by carrying the button with her which is a good idea in principal. Unfortunately, like so many other reviewers of different models by this same company have said, it works only rarely when it wants to but usually not at all. Despite investing in new batteries, there was absolutely no improvement. It is going back and I will try to find a different company's product for more reliability. This brand appears to be junk and not worthy of being carried by Canadian Tire.
