Q: How to make adjustment of sizes? Is it possible to re-use the skates? Say after an older kid was done using the skates as size 11; will the skates be able to re-set and re-use as size 8 for a younger kid?

Q: My 4.5 yo's shoes size is 11 ; feet are 17 cm. Would the bigger size (12 and up) be the one to buy in these circumstances? If she wears bid socks?

A: Yes, I would advise getting the bigger size as she is right at the end of the smaller size. They may be a little large still with thicker socks, but at least she will be able to grow into them in the coming seasons. We always advise to try on skates at a store if possible just to make sure.

Q: My daughters are 5 and wear a size 12 shoe. Should I get them the size 12 skate? It is for Christmas, so I dont want to bring them in to try it on and ruin the surprise.

A: Yes, that size should work and because they are adjustable they can continue to grow with them and you will hopefully get a few seasons out of them.

A: Yes, they should and they are adjustable. But if you are able to, we always recommend going into a store to try on skates in person to confirm they fit properly.

A: Yes, the issue has been resolved as the buckle has been changed to a Velcro strap. If purchasing in store, be sure to check the model as some stores may have older inventory.

A: Balance Blades come with patented learn to skate technology on the skate that will be removed upon sharpening. It is only recommend to sharpen the blades once the traction points are no-longer required.
