Great,but.

This is better than the other brand I bought for my kid. The only thing is that, the center opening doesn't match the size of the skateez I bought for it. I have to make modification, like I think using my dremel to mold it to the skates center opening size.

Reasonable skate boot with room to grow.

These are adjustable skate blades and so far at the default (smallest) foot size my kids are pretty happy with them. The competing skate brand said it covered more sizes but was far too narrow. We'll se if these are an issue when the kids have grown, but so far so good. One warning is that these are not figure skating skates and there are some things you just can't do unless you are using those.

Great skates! Kid and parent approved

Our now 7 year old has been using these skates for the past 2 winters 3-4 times a week. The design allows him some independence to put his skates on and off and the blade design allows mom less stress as he is far more stable on the ice. He is able to keep up with his 2 older hockey playing brothers. Bonus there is also no complaints about cold sore feet as the boot is quite similar to a winter boot in fabric. Very pleased with purchase!

Yes, I recommend this product.

The best skates to learn on

I highly recommend these skates for learning to skate. The long flat blade gives the best balance and they have spiky bits on each end to prevent slipping out. The adjustable size will last several years and they won't have to break in new skates every year. They're also very well insulated. My daughter has worn them up to 3 hours at a time and never complained of cold feet. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: My grandson's foot measures 5.5 inches - what size skates? I'm confused between Youth and Junior sizes

1 Answer
  • WINNWELL

A: These skates come in two sizes. The youth adjustable skate is sizes Y8-Y11 and the junior adjustable skate is sizes Y12-J2. Your grandson's foot is too small for both those sizes. He would need a Y6 or smaller. I hope this information has been helpful

Q: There are a pair that say "Size 12 - 2" - not sure what this means but wondering if this may fit my 2 year old? Thanks in advance!

1 Answer
  • A: It would depend on the size of feet for your two year old. In my experience I would recommend the size 8-11 model of this skate. If your 2 year olds feet are smaller than size nine you may need to consider the Vic Lil Pro or the Bauer X250 models.
