You cannot go wrong with this tent it is easy to set up, rain resistant, and lots of space and really feels comfortable. This tent can easily fit air mattresses in it. BEST TENT CANT GO WRONG WITH IT!

Bought this tent hoping to be able to use it without the rainfly when not seriously raining. However the roof is entirely mesh. This is not so bad because the rainfly covers it but it also covers the windows as well so you have the choice of either being completely sealed in with no view whatsoever or being completely open to the elements with no quick solution if it starts to rain (I did not relish putting on the rainfly in the middle of the night!).
It is easy to set up but the instructions are so minimal as to be utterly useless - just figure it out yourself. I can also confirm what the other reviews say about the floor not being very sturdy. Will be returning this probably for the Broadstone Euro 8-person - which is $40 cheaper.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I recommend a tarp under any and all tents. This one comes with its own perfectly sized drop sheet! It works great!

Q: Is the grey tarp that is provided for underneath the tent or is it for use inside the tent for the flooring?

A: The drop sheet goes under the tent. It helps protect the tent from moisture entering the tent from underneath.

A: Wind River is a brand used Exclusive at Canadian Tire and Mark’s Work Warehouse. The warranty on the 76-5157 Easy Up tent is 1 year but other items will vary.

A: The fly is standard tent material but the roof of the actual tent is mesh screening. We used in for three days and it rained two of them. And I mean POURED! And we didnt get a single drop in the tent!! Loved it!!

Q: Are using tent pegs in the ground needed for this to stand on its own? I often camp at BC Provincial camp sites, which are hard, packed gravel and impossible to get pegs into. So is this tent able to stand and be supported on its own, like a dome tent, or does it have to be pegged to the ground for structure support?

A: #76-5157 is an EZ up model that will stand on its own but like any tent it needs to be pegged down for stability and in case of heavy winds. There are nail pegs you can buy that may be better to use than regular pegs in hard surfaces.
