Use a round pan instead.

This pan is just the perfect depth. Any deeper, and the cake would be clear of the centre cut-outs; any shallower, and the batter would cover them completely. Instead, the finished cake comes out looking like it's been punched in the face. (I am assuming that a box cake mix is the typical unit of batter.)
Further, even though this is a non-stick coating, I STILL covered it with enough butter that southern women were coming out of the woodwork to tell me, "Too much butter, honey", and the cake STILL stuck between the nose and the mouth.
As the title of this review said, I wish I'd simply cut the shape out of a round pan instead.
No, I do not recommend this product.

1.The pan has no instructions as to how to prep it or how much batter it takes.
2.The cake would not release even though I greased it well.
3. The pan is extremely hard to clean. There are a lot of crevices in it.
