Not working on raccoons

Bought a can two days ago and tried it on my new lawn sod to prevent raccoons from coming tearing up the new sods, but it does not work. This morning, I still saw the same damages caused by raccoons.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Hello vchowca,
The Wilson Predator Animal Barrier repels by taste. It is very effective on garbage pails, and ornamental plants and trees to prevent animals from chewing. Not for use on lawns to keep the racoon from digging it up.
It could be that you have grubs or leather jackets in your lawn which would be the reason why the raccoons would be digging it up. We would suggest that you check to see if you have them in your lawn and if so, use either the Green Earth Grub Buster or Leather Jacket buster products offered.

Q: Will this product be harmful To hummingbirds? I want to spray the garden just below where the hummingbird s feed and do not wish to harm them.

A: The Wilson Predator Animal Barrier is formulated with a very bitter substance and repels many animals listed on the label. When spraying around a bird feeder, just make sure the product is applied on a very calm day (ie. no wind) and no spray touches the bird feeder. Hummingbirds would definitely not be harmed by the spray. Hope this helps!

Q: Raccoons are nesting on my fig tree. Currently the figs are ripe. If I spray the branches will it be absorbed by the tree and travel to the fruits?

A: As Wilson Predator Animal Barrier is an aerosol spray, it would be very difficult to ensure the spray material did not contact the figs. It has been formulated to stop animals from chewing and nibbling by applying a very bitter substance. Unfortunately this substance, if sprayed on the figs, would make them inedible. Also, it will not prevent any wildlife from travelling onto the branches, unless of course they were chewing the branch.

A: Unfortunately this product is not useful against Skunks. Wilson Predator Animal Barrier is not intended for use on the lawn, which is where skunks do most of their foraging for food. This product can be used to control plants damage caused by dogs, cats, rabbits, raccoons, beavers, mice, rats, deer, squirrels, voles, porcupines and some types of granivorous birds, fruit eating birds and carrion crows.
