Not water tight

It seems to work okay but everytime I open it up to get the SD card out, there is water inside the bottom.

2 star only because in nicer weather it's ok. Definitely misses videos and pictures, so I'll be generous and say it catches 50%. Low light the quality starts going bad fast and when weather gets 0 or below at night, videos turn totally grainy. I've even had a whole night of almost completely black except for glowing eyes and grainy silhouettes. So usable yes. Reliable not so much.

A: Don't know what their official rating is but I have used them in -30c to -40c and up to +35c without issue. Batteries are the biggest issue in the cold.

Q: The specs indicate a maximum focus distance of 1 meter. Does this mean anything further than 1 meter is going to be out of focus? I want to use it as a security cam.

A: Claude, I have several cams and this is my 1st and only Wildview cam. I bought it since it was on clearance and i took a chance. The image quality is nothing more than junk along with a very poor spotty image response. If you can return it now and upgrade to another manufacturer sold by CTC.
