Poor design

Very poor fit. Nearly impossible to install filter and frame without warping the fan housing (top of humidifier) causing the fan to stop or cause a fault in water level sensor.

Installation & removal

The filter itself is good, just design issues.
This filter use to have plastic straps that would catch on frame cross straps when installing & removing from frame on Aircare EP9 humidifier series. Now with the glue construction, the glue straps catch the frame much more making installation & removal even harder. I would like to see the mfg. go back to the plastic straps but run the straps 90 deg. from original straps to prevent straps from catching on the frame straps.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: You can soak and wash with wick/filter with hot water. Do not use any soap or chemicals.
