Solid steel nuts, better than Jeep OEM.

Bought these to complete a set. Previously bought a 20-pack to replace the not-very-durable OEM nuts on a Jeep Wrangler. 20 nuts will secure the four wheels, but not the spare. Was going to just leave the "best" three of the OEM nuts on the spare, but then spotted these while shopping. These are much better quality than the aluminum-capped OEM nuts; solid steel with a bright chrome finish. The spline-drive makes them a bit harder for amateurs and opportunists to steal that just a standard hex nut...if a professional thief is intent on getting your spare they can/will have a tool that removes the typical "locking nut" just as easily as having a spline-drive key. The original 20 have been through a full winter and summer in Vancouver, (so not a lot of salt on the roads, but lots of moisture) and show no signs of corrosion. I expect these to perform just as well.

Danger stay away!! Lugs all broke!

Do not buy these!! I bought a set and I used a 12" ratchet to tighten them. All of them stripped!! These are very dangerous and I'd stay away! I used my hands and did not step on the ratchet to tighten!

No, I do not recommend this product.
