Misleading specs, doesn't focus

This is my first trail camera, but I'm familiar with digital photography in genera. In testing, the camera would not focus. Any subject at a reasonable distance was fuzzy. The blades of grass or leaves at the periphery of the picture and a foot from the camera were sharp, so it's either autofocus on the closest thing, or just plain out of focus. The box says 0.5 second response, but the setting in the camera is 5 sec and up. Even so, actual response was slower than that, and it anything that wasn't standing still for a long time. Box says 75 ft capture, but it's more like 20. Night images were too dark and even worse blur. Poor dynamic range, so parts were dark and others overexposed. Even on highest resolution setting, there were strong compression artifacts in the pictures; not true high resolution. Manual is sparse, and no more information on-line.
Ok if the deer you are after is posing with their nose to the camera, otherwise forget it.
No, I do not recommend this product.
