Purchased this camera only on price point because I had cameras stolen. Was very surprised with the quality and distance that the sensor triggered. Comparable to my $400 cams so I'm buying more !

Q: Just purchased yesterday and having trouble getting anything to record., Anything it does record cannot get the SD card to download on any device.

1 Answer

A: Something certainly doesn't seem right. I would start with replacing the SD card and trying a different one if you have it. I know it sounds simple, but make sure the distance sticker has been removed from the lens. If everything is working properly, you will see a red light indicate when you are in the PIR cone of detection. This only operates for the first 2 mins the camera is turned on. If all else fails reset the camera to factory settings by removing the batteries and SD card and holding down the power and enter buttons for 3 seconds. If you still are unable to get it to operate, please call the consumer response number on the package. Thanks and sorry for the troubles.

Q: does this camera take night time photos The night time photos seem very dark . Is there something I can do to make them better besides running a light

A: Try moving the camera closer to your intended target while placing an attractant in that location to ensure a clear image. Unfortunately producing a large flash range results in a shorter battery life and is a balancing act.
