A: Short answer: No. Although the strip lights are plastic coated, the connector (USB) to activate the device, isn't water proof. And any moisture will damage this product and render it useless (where it connects the USB cord and the adapter itself). Thanks for asking! (Its good to taco bout it)! Highly recommend this product regardless of not being able to utilize outside. Have a wonderful day!

Q: Is this tape light bright or just one level of brightness..And I’m thinking of putting above my kitchen cabinets and not sure if just one is long enough to light up the area

A: sorry for the delay in my response but i found that you can change the colors, have them flash in a sequence, dim or brighten them, n also depends on the color you choose as to the brightness level also. ie. the yellow or lighter blue is brighter then the darker purple or red. The total lentgh its only 6 feet, not very long at all. Its best to measure the site where you plan to use it then determine how many boxes your going to need. Expectation from owning a similar version of this product made from a previous purchase but from elsewhere & a different brand, another suggestion would be to decide how your going to use this item. . The light strand itself is bulky and was awkard to hang, There was no tape or accesory included to assist in hanging It or holding it into place.

Hardware not include

On the box it says that the hardware is included also has instructions for the use of screws. No where in the box is there mounting hardware. Even exchanged for another one. Was not a mistake the hardware is NOT INCLUDED. Very neat lights are bright and many options for variety. Useless without the hardware. Was disappointed for this. Returned the item.

The light works great

So far the light is working as advertised. I use for accent lights above our kitchen cupboards. The remote is is a little fussy at times but the trick. I would recommend this product.
