Clear any accumulated snow/ice from the roof structure regularly with a soft-sided instrument. We recommend always removing snow/ice from outside the structure.

nice shelter

i would have given this 5 stars if it came with the proper bolts. i was provided with 5 long bolts, unfortunately you need 6 to finish the shelter.
other than that not too hard to put together by yourself.

Improve your new temporary shelter

The steel tubing is super thin and will rust out in a year or two, but they do say it's a "temporary" shelter. However you don't get much for the money. Also if you place it on asphalt or brick the earth fasteners cannot be used. but you could drill a hole and use # 14 brick screws. I also bought two 8 ft lengths of electrical EMT tubing and used them on the ground at each end of the shelter for additional strength. In the picture of the shelter these were placed across the zipper opening and also at the other end, the tubing that comes with the product just fits into the EMT. I cut off maybe 10 inches from the EMT to keep the bottom spread 8 ft as the shed should be.

A: I saw the answer of cholgate in this thread and call the number given. all Thre panels were delivered in a box in two business days for an astoundingly low price. The material thickness is the same as the original 'fabric' which in my case lasted six years. You do have to re-use the ratchet tighteners from your original shed so you may need to use some penetrating oil on them to get them working smoothly again. A word of caution about the size. My shed was nominally 10long X10 wide X by8 tall but actually measured 120 inches long by 109 inches wide by about 87 inches high and what is supplied is for a true 10X10X8 frame. IF you have the old slightly smaller version as I do rather than what they are currently selling you will have rather more fabric than your frame really needs. It's a bit of a fiddle to install and the result is a bit floppy and will billow and flap in a high wind and the front door will be a bit clumsy to roll up. But I'd rather have it too big than too small. To get years more service for less than a quarter of the price of the entire shed is a joyful bargain.

Q: Will the box of a large Shelter Logic shed eg 20 x 12 fit into the back of my Grand Jeep Cherokee with the seats down?

A: Box dimensions are listed both in metric and imperial units under Specifications. Check it out and compare to the room in the back of your vehicle. My quess is affirmative. I was able to fit the two large boxes their Coleman 22x12x52 above ground pool came in into the RAV4 with the rear seats folded.

A: I have mine on grass with 2 corners locked down. You should be able to put it on top of anything as long as there is somewhere to pin down a few corners.

A: This one is 8ft high and the zippers work perfect on them very heavy duty zippers and the door also rolls up if you don't want to keep it closed.

Q: What is the width between the side cross rails at the top. Shelter to go over a hot tub that is 7 x 7. I looked at the instruction manual,but no inside dimentions were given. A: Not sure exactly but the walls are fairly vertical up to the top of the door. I would guess 9'. I bought mine for the same purpose #6'round hot tub# and am very pleased at how roomy it is. It can get very steamy with the door closed but seems to rid of moisture easily. I am also very impressed with the quality of material and hardware for the money. Great Value. I am going to buy a second one to nose my truck in to keep the snow off:-)

Q: Can Rear Panel Open? Can the rear panel be left open or does it have to be fully enclosed on 3 sides? For instance, is it a piece that you attach separately and can just leave off? I would like to leave two sides open if possible. Thanks!

A: its come with 3 tarps one for front and back then up over top ! front opens back is solid but yes you could leave the back off if needed

A: The poles are made of STEEL. Very durable, but remember... Steel RUSTS, which will weaken to the point of fatigue failure over time if the metal is lying in the dirt, pooling water, snow, etc. Use your noggin... Place some (3 or 4) pressure treated 2"x8"x10' on the ground and build upon them. Protect your investment and READ the manual until you understand every step of the installation.
