The WD-40 1011 Multi-Purpose Lubricant and Cleaner protects metal from rust and corrosion while penetrating stuck parts and displacing moisture. This WD40 lubricant lubricates just about anything, removing grease, grime, rust, and marks from most surfaces. Lubricating ingredients are widely dispersed and hold firmly to all moving parts. This non-aerosol formula also dissolves adhesives for easy removal of labels, tape, stickers, and excess bonding material. It protects against corrosion to shield against moisture and other corrosive elements. The lubricant loosens rust-to-metal bonds and frees stuck, frozen, or rusted metal parts. It quickly dries out electrical systems by displacing moisture to eliminate moisture-induced short circuits.

Q: Can this product remove paint that got on a painted object without removing the original paint from the onject

10 months agoA: WD-40 Multi-Use-Product will most likely stain the clothes. Therefore, we would not recommend this use case, as it may cause further damage!

Q: Can you use it on the rubber seal on the bottom of a garage door to prevent it from icing up & sticking?
a year agoA: Yes, you can use the WD-40 Multi-Use Product for this application, as it is safe to use on rubber, and is designed to shield against moisture. For increased performance, the 3-IN-ONE Professional Water- Resistant Silicone Lubricant (038-1562-8), would also be a product recommended for this use.

Q: can I use it on my laminating house floor to get rid of the squeaky noise? is it safe?
5 years agoA: Using WD-40 Multi-Purpose Lubricant on your floor will cause it to become slippery, with the chance of a fall so it would not be safe to use for this application. The squeaky floors are potentially a sub-floor issue.
