Product Details

The Watts half-inch brass vacuum relief valve helps prevent damage to water heaters and tanks by allowing air to enter pipes and relieve vacuum buildup within tanks. Made of corrosion-resistant brass with a maximum working pressure of 200 pounds per square inch, this valve helps equalize air pressure differences that can form when water drains from pipes and tanks. Installing the valve is a simple way to safeguard plumbing systems.

Watts Vacuum Relief Valve is suitable for low pressure steam and water service, and is ideal for use in domestic water heaters and supply tanks
Automatically allows air to enter into the piping system to prevent vacuum conditions that could siphon water from the system and damage water equipment
