The hose attaches well and has built in shutoff which can help with flood issues due to leakage. One needs to be sure that the shutoff valve end goes on the correct end. Instructions do not highlight this important factor.

I bought these hoses and they restricted the water pressure to much that my brand new machine registered low water. An appliance technician came to my place and recommended the hoses be replaced.

Q: Can this hose be used on a dishwasher where the connection point is the same as a washing machinee or outdoor hose?

A: If you are asking whether this hose connects to a valve or fitting with a ¾” male hose thread outlet (which is the typical diameter and thread for garden hoses and washing machine supply hoses), the answer is yes – this hose connects to that size outlet.
