Kinda Works

The slightest bit of water pressure triggers the shutoff feature so I guess it works. The water shutoff valve must be set to a trickle to prevent it from triggerring and the tank takes 10 minutes to fill.

Fits perfectly

This item looked shorter in the store than required, however it fits perfectly when I installed it at home, it should deal with sudden hose burst or nylon retaining nut split types of failures, but not address slow leak scenario, which was the initial reason I bought this product, as the nylon retaining nut of the original hose in the 20 years old house developed a crack due to UV degradation in the guest bathroom with a window, the same thing happened with the master bathroom 10 years ago, but the powder room without a window does not have this issue, although I decided to replace all the original hoses at the same time. I also plan to get the electronic moisture sensor alarm to address the slow leak scenario.

Big hassle, had to return it.

Once installed, each flush triggered the "flood protect" which caused me to have to reset the water supply after each. I was looking for a standard hose but there were none in stock so I had to purchase this one. Returned it the next day. There was no issue on the return.

No, I do not recommend this product.
