Almost great.

It s comfortable to hold and the container holds a lot of paint, I found that it doesn’t spray much paint at time as I had to go over the area a couple of times to get it to cover. Not as effective as my old Lemberg .

Our Control Spray line of HVLP sprayers are designed for thin bodied materials, like stain, polyurethane or thinned paints. There are a few things you can do to paint/stain to ensure it sprays well.
1 - Stir the paint/stain with a mixer in a drill until its creamy smooth, about 1 min per gallon
2 - Strain the paint/stain before it goes into the sprayer
3 - Add a flow agent, like Floetrol or Paint Easy (this is not a thinner) for latex paint – Penetrol for oil based
4 - Or you can thin, even as little as 5% can make a big difference, water for water based materials and mineral spirit for oil based material. Up to 20% is fine.

Good product, could use some minor tweaks

We purchased this sprayer to stain our deck. We were impressed with the time savings (50 to 75% of brush time). The unit itself could use improvements on the material quantity control, as it would continually vibrate out of position on low flow applications. We wrapped the thumb control with teflon tape to tighten it up.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought this gun to replace my older wagner gun that still worked but this gun has a lot more control settings ,the gun saves time and does a better job, clean up took longer then video showed

A: The Control Spray DD is intended for thin bodied materials like stains and polyurethane, it will struggle with latex paint. Look at our Flexio line of HVLP for spraying your latex paints.

A: IT’s recommended that it’s used for stains, I have actually used it with latex paint, however it’s designed for thin materials , keep in mind that the parts are plastic so you may need to take the nozzle off and clean it between coats if the product you are using is too thick

Q: Can you spray bed liner with this spray gun?

A: I own this particular spray gun and I have used it with latex paint but I had to dilute it ,this spray gun is actually meant for staining,if the paint you are using is a rubberized paint I don’t think I would use it , all the parts and nozzle are plastic so you need to be careful with solvents ,the orifice will probably clog using a Bed liner paint , I would recommend using a air compressor with an air powered suction gun .

A: No it will not. I would consult the driveway sealer manufacturer and ask them how it should be applied. Once you have that information you can call us at 1-800-328-8251 and we can see if we have a product that will work for your application.

A: The 0490398 Wagner Paint Ready is best suited for latex wall paint indoors for exterior latex painter the 0490395 Wagner 6.6 GPH Power Painter Plus is the preferred latex sprayer for exterior latex.
