Good grief

10 years ago

Followed the manual to a "T" in setting up the unit. After over a week plugged in, the indicator light to signal water is cold hasn't illuminated yet. Just dispenses at room temp even at Max cold setting. Kettle feature does work. Man what a drag driving 100 mi to return the unit.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good water cooler

Old water cooler (10+ years old) stopped cooling around xmas time. Worried about finding a replacement that will be as reliable. So far, happy with this cooler. Wanted room temperature water - check. Also, nice to have the option for hot water. Uses the same tap, is kind of like an on-demand kettle, takes a couple of minutes to heat up. Mostly for when my mother comes to visit. Cold water temperature is adjustable, was too warm out of the box. Need a screw driver to adjust the temperature. Directions say to clean the cooler first, before loading a water bottle. Directions don't say that the room temperature tap won't drain with only the small amount of liquid added for cleaning. Just go ahead and drain the cold tap, and then the drain plug in the back. Phoned support, that is what they told me. Had since January, so far a good water cooler.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: vitapur counter top water cooler parts I am looking for a part for my vitapur countertop water cooler. Its the part that has the post that the water bottle sits in.Its a plastic insert, sort of a bowl with the post in the middle, and small holes to allow water to pass around the post.
