Beautiful sink but with a fault

This sink comes in two pieces: the conventional sink piece and the top round plate (with little feet) that sits inside the sink and covers the drain hole. The downside: water doesn't seem to drain well from the top round plate - it just sits there. The upside: it's a beautiful sink - perfect for a smaller washroom that might not have too much counter space, like a powder room.
