Outstanding value and quality

I seldom write reviews but this portable grill deserves one. Got this on sale for under CAD$200. Excellent design, outstanding quality build and a Canadian brand (don’t let the Italian name fool you). Also like that it only weighs around 31 lbs, perfect for camping and roadtrips in my RV. I looked at Weber and Napoleon and while they are good, they are simply outclassed by this grill and at less than half the price.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: Your product specs shows total heat generated with the 2 burners is 24000 BTU; however the manufacturer website shows it is only 12000 BTU, which is correct?

A: I'm disappointed. I just bought this today over several other options bc of the BTUs. There were less expensive, versions from other brands with more than 12000 BTUs. This is poor business practice. And, a rubber foot is missing from the original packaging.

Q: The Paderno Vida Portable BBQ has a chain with a wire attached to the back of the unit. The Manual Calls it a 21) Lighting Rod. What is this part and how do I use it?

A: I believe it is used to hold a match which you would then use to light the barbeque in the event the regular way (buttons/knobs) fail.
