Pretty well built and solid overall. Cabinet doors are sturdy with storage hooks. Even heating and substantial grates. Window is very handy to see cooking progress and the reason we went with this model over a napoleon or webber.

Q: Assembled the BBQ this weekend and only the two outer burners light, the middle ones do not light even if I hold a BBQ lighter to it.

A: read the manual , it shows and describes how to light them you 1st light the 2 outer burners , the set the middles ones to 10 then press and hold the knobs in for 5 secs/ its because of the oven features , read the manual how to use this bbq as its different then bbq without the oven feature, the oven feature also only uses the 2 outer burners and the middle must be off

Q: We just used our grill for the first time, but the temperature does not get past 280-300 degrees, it is hooked up to natural gas. How can we increase the heat, we put all 4 burners on 10

A: same happened to us.... there is a 'reducer' for propane that has to be removed to allow the NG to flow properly to the burners. at least that's what I understood from hubby who googled the problem and figured it out ;-)

Q: We bought this bbq and converted it to natural gas using the recommended kit. Followed the lighting instructions and it has never gone above 325deg with all burners on max10 and we can't cook anything on it without taking hours.... what are we doing wrong

A: The switch screw behind the control knob needs to be adjusted and the propane orifice needs to be removed when converting from propane to natural gas. See page 18 of the instruction manual: http://www.cvsbbq.com/manuals/Convertible_Valve_System_Manual_E.pdf

Q: We can't seem to get the grill to 'sear' the meat... cooks fine, like baked in an oven, but no 'grill' marks like a true BBQ steak or burger. Flame is covered by the metal. Any suggestions?

A: Thank you for your question. First ensure you are using the Natural Conversion Kit (85-2261) purchased at Canadian Tire. The kit includes the #17 and #19 wrenches used to remove the regulator and attach the natural gas hose. Q: Hello, I recently purchased the 4 burner BBQ and have run into a problem with the assembly. On page 32(step 16B) cord EE came plugged into where BF is. I gently tried to pull on it, but it's well connected. Tried customer service, they were no help.

A: When I put my barbecue together the only wire that was connected was the ground wire. I also had to search underneath for 1 wire that I thought wasn't there. Once I found it it worked fine.
