Q: I just purchased a brand new 2-burners Vida BBQ, I hooked it up with natural gas kit. When I started to cook, I noticed it took long time to heat up, and the flame was not so strong. I am just wondering if this is the "feature" of design?

3 Answers
  • A: No problem heating up just have to make sure you read the lighting instructions regarding the baking mode as opposed tp the BBQ setting. I have no problems with mine works very well so far.

Q: Under normal summer weather conditions, what's the maximum temperature that can be easily and regularly attained in BBQ mode (not oven mode) within about 10 to 12 minutes?

2 Answers
  • A: I would say about 400°F/200°C. It depends somewhat on the weather (wind), but also during cooking, depends on the food (higher-fat dripping food of course causes more flames and higher temperature).
