Paderno cookware

We’ve only started using our cookware set. Our new Paderno cookware cooks evenly on our induction stove top. Clean up was easy, even without nonstick coating on the frying pan. We look forward to many years of cooking with this set.

A: Yes, you may get water marks per manufacturer . I put mine is dishwasher all the time and they are fine. Good pots because they have straight sides, thick bottoms with no seams.

A: This product is fully clad. It is made with 3 layers of material through the entire body of the pots/pans. The interior layer of material is grade 304 stainless steel, which is food-safe and non-reactive to food. thank you

A: Yes, this cookware is made with a top layer of food grade stainless steel, and aluminum “core” in the center and then an induction compatible stainless steel exterior layer. The aluminum core is critical to providing even heat distribution throughout the pan.

Q: I have a gas stove. Do I need to fear the handles of the pots getting hot while cooking?

A: Hello Lisa, thank you for your inquiry. The level of this risk depends on a few factors, -type of stove: gas stove tops are more prone to heating up SS handles because the heat wraps up around the sides of the pot/pan and can heat the handles where they meet the pan (which can then to transferred along the handle to some degree). This risk is heightened even more if the customer sets the stove at too high of a heat setting (as the U&C manual says, the burner should be set so that the flame does not extend up the sides of the pot/pan, the flame should only directly contact the bottom of the pot/pan) -type of cooking: fry pans typically will have the handle located closest to the stovetop/cooking surface, so they have a higher risk of handles heating up vs. say a saucepan or dutch oven in which the handle is physically further away from the heat source -cookware placement: It’s also important to make sure that handles are not positioned over top of/close to another burner element which could inadvertently heat up the handle -oven use: the handles will definitely heat up if placed in the oven Ultimately, all SS handles have some risk of heating up. Oven mitts or pot holders should be available should they be needed.
