Bad product! Save your money, buy traps!

Purchased and plugged these in 6 weeks ago, 2 plugged in in my crawl space style basement. Still catching mice in traps every week and the traps are located near these plug in things. They are really just a night light, obviously don’t do anything to deter mice.

Do not work

I purchased enough to plug into every room as well as outside. Mice still come into the yard and right under where it is plugged in. There is nothing blocking the sound. Same for inside the house. Mouse droppings return after being cleaned up. Exterminator just smiled when he saw it and put poison traps down.

Mice still running free 4 feet away in open room

What a waste of time and money. After installing on an open wall in our storage room, my wife said she heard them scurrying around the room, and cleaned up a bunch of new droppings. I went down to get it the next day and there was a mouse in a box of lasagna 4 feet away. True story.

I think it works outdoors too

I bought this four pack for use outdoors. I know the instructions say it is for indoor use only but I had a squirrel that was damaging an oak tree in my front yard. While getting at acorns, the squirrel was also ripping down small branches with multiple leaves attached. Since I know squirrels are classified as rodents I plugged one of these ultrasonic things in my front porch and aimed it directly at the tree. Within 5 days, I don't see any fallen branches. I also used one of these in my backyard but I don't think it works on raccoons.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: How do you plug it in the garage if the outlet is up high

Q: will this affect squirrels I have a pet red squirrel but we have developed a bad mouse problem. We use the live traps and after catching 13 they now just get in and out. I want to get rid of them naturally if possible, so we were wondering if the electronic plugins would work.

Q: Does anyone know how to get this unit out of the top outlet? I purchased one of these and accidently put 2 in the top plug and they won't come out. The other 2 I put in the bottom come out fine.
