this is absolute garbage. You separate the red outer covers to expose a micro layer of fiberglass tape with instructions that are minimal however did a lot of research to make sure I did it right. Did all the prep work to the extreme. it was a joint seam weld on the exhaust pipe after resonator. . With the red tape you need to remove it is so thin no wonder it did not work. I did what they call a patch weld but went extra step and bought two kits and double wrapped around the pipe. Ran car like instructions said pre and after. The seal was awful. Did not even self seal to the wraps of adhesion to each other. Don't waste your money on this product. Buy scotch tape and watch it melt

Hello Todd, it is important to carefully remove both red plastic liners from each side and warp the area properly. Once affixed as noted on the instructions please idle the motor or drive the vehicle for 30 minutes to ensure the heat omitted will weld the epoxy resin and provide a solid coating. Thank you

Don’t use it. Just fix it properly.

Garbage! Don’t waste your time or money. Followed full instructions, even let it “cure” for longer. Once I started my truck , it started leaking again. Even used the putty around the crack also. Maybe because the crack was just before the muffler and had extra back pressure, but either way it didn’t work as advertised. Ended up welding in a new piece the next day.
