Great Idea, Poor Design

There have been a lot of stories of people getting metal burrs lodged in their throats, or worse. I was excited to try a wooden scraper for my grill. The head of this scraper is rounded with 1" grooves cut. I found this design was not best suited for my grill (Cuisinart). The scraper never sat flat on my grill and the grooves didn't line up with my grill making this virtually ineffective. I had purchased a different brand from another store and the scraper came flat with no grooves. You were instructed to heat up your grill and burn the grooves in yourself for a perfect fit. This works very well. I would suggest looking into a design change as the quality of the wood seems high, just the design doesn't allow this product to perform better than my current BBQ scraper.
