Recommended Usage: Place the Vermont Castings Charcoal Chimney on your barbecue cooking grates and fill with lump charcoal or briquettes. Light from underneath with newspaper or a charcoal starter. (Note: Due to high heat, paint may peel during the lighting process. Before cooking, be sure to give your cooking grates a quick brush/scrub to remove any excess debris.) Once the charcoal is evenly lit, as signalled by a grey/white colour, pour into the cook box of your barbecue.

Q: Paint peeling off ?! Hey, I started using it yesterday. After couple minutes, the PAINT started to go away and fall everywhere. What exactly is contained in this paint to start with and WHY would you make this. Do you do any TESTING with your products
