The Vermont Castings PWR POD Fire Starter (Tool Only) ignites charcoal, briquettes, wood chips, chunks, logs, or pellets in minutes without fluid. This universal battery-powered igniter system is 100% compatible with the MASTERCRAFT 20V MAX battery system for versatile use (battery not included). Reaching an ignition temperature of 1472°F (800°C), the PWR POD Fire Starter lights coals in just 60 seconds as the 55 km/hr (35 MPH) blowing air speed spreads the fire quickly. With an easy point-and-press button operation, this igniter releases no flame, gas, or chemicals. The two modes include a Burn to activate heat and fan for ignition, and a Blow to boost existing flames. The safety switch defaults to OFF while the cool-touch outer casing prevents burns. The stable base also conveniently functions as a bottle opener.
