Q: Can these gloves be used for fireplaces? ie transporting ashes from fireplace (that may contain embers)?

A: No way i would use them for moving anything you cant drop half way.. The heat transfer isnt any better than regular leather work gloves

Q: Purchased these gloves for camping trips. Had them last summer and they performed well, but have gotten dirty. How can I clean them?

A: Hello Maxx - Thank you for your question. Due to the material of the gloves, they should be spot cleaned only. You can wipe them down since they are all leather. They should not be immersed in water, bleached, or dry cleaned. We hope this helps answer your questions. - Ruby

Purchased these for over $50 and after less than half a dozen bbq the internal lining is already coming unstitched. My wife says she can try sew it back but the point is she shouldn’t have to if the manufacturer or Canadian Tire had done any semblance of QC. Obviously not worth the cost.
