Q: My fire pit came with 5 steel rods but nothing in the parts guide or user manual what these are for. What is the purpose of the rods?

Q: Can this Fire Pit be placed in my wooden deck? Does the bottom stay cool to be in contact with the wooden floor of a wooden deck?

Q: Where is the ash dump and how do you empty it?
4 years agoA: There is a pan below the pit. You just lift the pit up and dump the pan. Doesn’t produce very much ash.

4 years agoA: Very easy! Make sure to season the grills. Scoop out majority of ashes and finish with a shop vac if desired

Q: How well does the low smoke work?
2 years agoA: The low smoke can work if you use a special separate metal container for those wood chips that add flavours/scent to what your grilling/bbq. It’s not as easily controlled way to smoke food. it does however make a nice large wood burn pit with spark catcher. For when you just want to sit around a big open fire!

Q: Can this VC fire pit be put on a wood/plastic deck? or does the bottom get too hot?
4 years agoA: There is a possibility that embers can land on a deck and create damage. Fire Pits should never be used on a deck. Always use the Fire Pit on a hard, level, non-combustible surface such as stone or packed gravel

4 years agoA: Wood burning fire pits have no CSA standards. Hardwood firewood, premium hardwood pellets and charcoal are suitable fuel choices for this fire pit.
