No CSA Certification

This stove is not CSA certified, therefore it does not qualify for any rebates and good luck finding a Canadian insurance company that will cover a stove that does not have CSA certification. Buyer Beware. Note: this is the second attempt at leaving a review to warn other Canadians...

This past winter was its first Burn season. Was awesome. Sm foot print. Excellent heating capacity for out smaller home of 740 sq feet. Great quality construction. My only complaint the blower option is a bit noisy. Another observation 11 inch split long make a very tight fit. We use 8 inch which allows us to completely load up before bed and burns through the night. Wish it had an ash tray. Other then that loving it. Looking forward to this season.

As described with no complaints. I'll get a real trial over the winter. I do want to point out that in the "features" section on this listing the air intake kit is incorrectly listed as 69FAK. The correct kit is 4FAK, like the manual states. The latter is difficult to find in Canada and you might have to use dryer vent parts, not that I can find anything more than a cosmetic difference between the two. And it comes with all the needed firebrick installed. Take a good hard look at the dimensions also. It is an awkward sized firebox, but it takes up less floorspace than stoves of a similar output that are more horizontal. The claim it takes "11 inch logs" isn't a lie if they're skinny enough. 9" is probably more practical. And you can maybe put a couple of those narrow enamel kettles on top, but don't expect a normal frying pan or anything bulky.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Great Price, Great Quality

Bought this stove about 5 months ago for my 35’ travel trailer in Canada. Temperatures have been -20C and the stove makes the space very comfortable. The draft pull works amazing and I’ve barely had to clean the glass. Will say, when the stove is fully stocked with wood, the burn time is between 4-5 hours. If the trailer was more insulated it would probably last longer. Also, some of the gasket rope has begun to fray. I’m sure it is common as I’ve been burning constantly since it was installed. Would 100 percent recommend this product, based on the quality, efficiency and price!

Q: Can a double-walled flue be used with this stove?

A: The TH100 is not approved for use with double wall pipe. You must use single wall piping until you penetrate the wall or ceiling and then you need to switch to double wall or triple wall piping.
