great stove

purchased stove this past summer, installed in my off grid cabin in the country, Stove works excellent, great heat, Only had 1 small issue, heavy wind and rain was on the air intake and created a heavy soot on door, other than that, I'd recommend this stove,

YOU WILL HAVE REGRETS

DONT DO IT. We purchased a US5513 for our rental and waited until the tenants moved out to install it. By the time we installed it, the warranty was over, but I figure it wouldn't make a difference, how wrong was I. On low speed the blower fan barely spins and make a horrible sound like its about to quit, but it you turn it up full blast it blows hard but still has noise. This stove has been used for 2 weeks and im not sure if the blower motor is bad or a controller that operates it. Either way, I shouldn't have to worry and neither should you for a two week used pellet stove.

The stove was the small and stylish but worthless.

I've had this stove going on five years now and never had it work right. Can't seem to get the air set right, glass smokes up, pellets stop dropping and thermostat is worthless. Once it hits 80°f it basically shuts down.

A: We recommend a minimum of 1000w pure sine wave invertor battery backup for a short period of time. If you are using a generator, we recommend that it is 1000w invertor generator.

Q: Can I use spruce lumber waste from my framing job

A: You could use those for kindling or freshening the fire up, if needed. I would not, however, burn exclusively those because they have a very low moisture content and could potentially over fire the heater. Do not ever burn pressure treated lumber.
