Despite the fact that the product states Universal Fit in bold letters as the first statement on the packaging, it is indeed not universal as one of the hoses is too short for my Napoleon BBQ. I acknowledge that in smaller text it says it fits most BBQs, but it would be only reasonable to suggest you abstain from advertising it as Universal!!!!!

Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear your BBQ Hose and Regulator was leaking. Please note that many gas leaks can be corrected by performing a leak test on your grill.
HOW TO PERFORM A LEAK TEST:
1. Turn all control knobs to “OFF”.
2. Ensure that the regulator is securely connected to LP cylinder.
3. Create a mixture of 50% water and 50% liquid dishwashing soap. Spray the water and soap solution onto hose, regulator and all connections from the LP tank to the main and side burner manifold.
4. Open LP cylinder valve by turning hand wheel counterclockwise. If you hear a rushing sound, or smell gas, turn gas off immediately. There is a leak at the connection. CORRECT BEFORE PROCEEDING. If leak is detected at connection nut and tightening does not stop leak, reinspect propane tank rubber seal.
5. If “growing” bubbles appear, there is a leak. Close LP cylinder valve immediately and re-tighten connections. If leaks cannot be stopped, do not try to repair. Return Hose and Regulator.
NOTE: Always close LP cylinder valve after performing leak test by turning hand wheel clockwise.

A: Yes, the Master Chef 85-1302 Dual Hose & Regulator is designed for replacement on BBQ's with Side Burners like the Grillmate PR7100. Double check the hose length of your current hose & regulator to ensure that the 20" (50.8cm) long hoses on the 85-1302 Hose & Regulator are sufficient.

Q: Would it be possible to connect one hose to our tabletop gas grill and the other, with an adapter, to our Coleman stove?

A: Thank you for your question. No, the 85-1300 and 85-1302 Hose & Regulators are low pressure regulators designed for replacement on full sized gas grills. Tabletop gas grills and outdoor gas stoves typically use hose and adaptors connections – 85-1097 or 85-1084. We recommend using only 1 assembly per gas appliance.

Q: What is the maximum length obtainable for this tubing. Can you extend the tube from your gas line up to 30 feet. Hose & Regulator For BBQ/Side Burner Product #85-1302-4

A: The hose is 21" long and has only been approved by CSA without adjustments by the consumer. The manufacturer strongly recomends that the product is not adjusted in any way.
