Not so universal fit

After some blunt force I was able to make these knobs work on my bbq but they were anything but universal when it comes to fitting with ease.

We aren't sure which model grill you have, however for control knob information for your specific grill, please reach out to your grill manufacturer. You will need to have your model number and possibly the serial number handy to provide. Your grill's manufacturer will be able to assist with purchasing the correct control knobs for your specific grill. Q: Will these fit on a 1/4 inch diameter rod?

A: Yes. Depending on the length of the rod, it might not fit snugly against the control panel, but will fit tightly to the rod itself. Good product.

Q: Is this supposed to come with different inserts? I got only two types of short ones, 5 are identical and 1 with a smaller hole. And then identical long ones. And none of them fit.

A: It’s been a couple of years but I’m pretty sure mine came with 2 sets of inserts but 1 of them fit. Maybe it’s the shafts on your bbq?
