Perfect size for smaller compost bags and keeps my cat out of it. Tough to get the black insert out of can when its full though. Definitely not worth $53 for what you get but I needed something with a lid that can't be opened by a cat. Would I buy another, honest opinion no! But I did get $20 in CT money back as a bonus the day I bought it.
