very poor quality for the price

When paying out $95. for a stainless steel grabage can one would expect it to have an easy close lid, be of high quality stainless & have sturdy construction. unfortunately this does NOT have any of these features. Lid is loose & flimsy & the only part made of quality stainless. the main barrel of the can is very cheap S/S and stains so easily that every finger print will show on it & the glue resin from when you peel of the label also leaves a permament stain that I still can not get out (the cheap label they put on it took over 15 minutes alone to get off). Needless to say instead of being used in a high profile area like my kitchen with the rest of my S/S appliances, it has been relegated to my garage as my workshop garbage bin where looks don't matter...
No, I do not recommend this product.

The label issue

The size was exactly what I was looking for but why do they make the sticker so hard to remove? I used everything I could find to remove the label.

came damaged and return process was not easy

came damaged and return process was not easy. All bins came dented and damaged. To initiate the return, the customer service number told me to contact the store directly and then the store told me I couldn't return with them. I had to physically go to the store to return the items even though I had paid for them to be shipped. Overall a really annoying experience. Would not online order anything from Canadian Tire again.

Beware!!!

I returned it after a week! Bought it because of the great sale price. The huge sticker from purchase wouldn’t come off properly. The foot paddle started to lag within a week. The stainless steel showed marks and spots right away. I had hoped it had a protective layer on it. Would not recommend this product.

A: A grocery bag is not recommended as it is not deep enough and will not fit around the ring of the bin. We Recommend #042-9790 FRANK 34L bags.

Q: Do you sell the hardware for product #42-3043-0? I have the stainless steel step can 30 L but the hardware on the lid is broken. Do you have parts for this product or do you know the manufacturer to order from? I do not want to buy another one for $49.99 when I paid $24.99 on sale.
