A: Rosanna actually, most size LP'S are 12-1/2 inches wide, these crates are a 1/4" less in width, any changes you could make to this product would be great!!

Q: Is this suitable for letter size hanging files?

A: Yes, not only for Letter size files holder but the crate can be used for Legal size file folders by turning the crate sideways. I use these crates for all my Legal size file folders that are hanging. Initially I think that is what the crate was designed for. I am surprised that CT does not mention this fact. The crate also has a open window near the top on all 4 corners where you can insert a label on what the crate contains. Especially useful to label a number of Letter or Legal file folders that the crate holds.

Q: I'd like to use this to organize a chest freezer. Is it ok to be used in cold temperature?

A: Hello , Vinyl records usually come in 3 different sizes – 7”, 10” or 12” diameter. Here is the size of our crate: Length ( inch) 16.90 - width ( inch) 13.80- Height (inch) 11.00 - Weight (Lb) 1.94 -weight (Lb) 1.94 volume (cuft) 1,485 Pretty sure they would fit, but it depends. Q: Are these suitable for vinyl record storage? Having a bit of a hard time trying to figure that out. They'll be in a horizontal orientation stacked two on top of each other, if that helps. Records are durable, but not That durable, so breakage is a concern
