Q: Can this bottle be used to spray olive oil or any type of cooking oil?

A: I wouldn't reccomend this for spraying olive oil or any other oil. It could be used to drizzle olive oil. For spraying look for a trigger style pump opposed to a push pump (like this product). Buy a high quality trigger system pump with a decent sized line. Since olive oil is thick do not by a cheap sprayer without a warrenty. Putting olive oil through a sprayer is much more demanding on the mechanics of the pump mechanism as you will be using much more force. Hope this helps.
